Cool basement. That's a whole lot of work he's done!Squirrel
Yes. Basement. Folks in California are discombobulated by the fact a house would have an entire second floor under the ground beneath the first floor. They are primarily found in the mid-west. Families turn them into game rooms, family rooms, or set up their model railroad displays in them. Or, if you were like my family, a gigantic swimming pool, because ours kept flooding when it rained.
Shouldn't that be be: "Dontcha wish your basement could be hot like this?"But I digress, I'm just trying to figure out what show has Mike Rowe that clean looking.
This reminds me of a trip I took with my father back when I was around 15 (37 years ago… yikes) to New Jersey. The house that we stayed in had a basement that was pretty decked out… I think it had a pool table among other things. I had never seen a basement before and just couldn’t believe that there was a whole other house down there. I also remember bugging my Dad about how we should do that to our house in California. He just kept telling me they weren’t built that way here and I just kept being disappointed wondering “why not?”.Great video Fred, thanks.
