Funny how they keep insisting that they don't need a missing link, but then they get so excited when they think they've found one.
Besides, in my expert opinion it looks like a lizard.
"Given these facts, it may seem incredible that anyone would hail this find as a “missing link.” "
But, the flesh loves hype. Reminds me of the polar bears all dying, when in fact they are flourishing.
And the stupid people who watch TV will eat it up with a big spoon.
Google has a new logo with this '8th wonder of the world'. Sad.
It's like people long to know that they are nothing but apes, and even slime, basically.

Amazing isn't it? People would rather be giant, irrational apes than give God due worship.
I've skimmed a few forums frequented by evolutionary types who are rolling their eyes as well, wishing the media would quite hyping every discovery as "The FINAL Proof of ABSOLUTELY Everything!"
One of them linked to this cartoon, which I thought was pretty apt.
Also, here's an excellently-hilarious piece by someone who accepts evolutionary theory, but is disgusted at the media hype around Darwinius massilae.
