FBT Updates

Some readers may remember a three part series I did almost three years ago now explaining why I think Christians who seriously entertain conspiracy theories are endangering their spiritual health. I called it, Tin-Foil Hat Theology, and the posts caused no small stir among the conspiracy believers who claim to be Christians and insisted on leaving comments.

I have them linked in my side bar if anyone is interested.

I recently had the opportunity to combine them all into one long essay and post it at my other website, Fred's Bible Talk.

Would you believe it? As soon as I was making my final read over, I was alerted to a new website by an old nemesis, Bob, whom I wrote about back in May of 2006. This same fellow now has a long, detailed article exposing how Grace has been transformed by the New World Order by clandestine change agents.

Interesting that all of this "transformating" and "changing" happened while I have been a member, but for some reason, I never saw it happening. I guess I have been blinded.

None the less, I do find it interesting Bob's article is published by a website soaked in tin-foil hat theology, and the main moderators are women. I am sure that is a conspiracy with in itself.

Well, Fred, we'd expect you to say that since you yourself are obviously a front man for the International Jewish Conspiracy, or Roswell, or the Trilateral Commission, or the Skull & Crossbones Club, or the...

Anyway, whatever it is, you're obviously a front man! So we'd expect these disclaimers from you. That's all part of the cover-up.

Well everyone knows that John MacArthur actually was the secret mentor of J.R. "Bob" Dobbs and all the information concerning "slack" comes from him.

It's about time the membership at Grace Church became sober and realized that John Macarthur has embraced the church growth philosophy. The evidence is plain for all to see.

Oh yeah, it is really a detailed expose all right: By a nut who visited our church once for an hour and a half who spent a good part of that time arguing with people at the Bible study about Al Mohler being a U.N. Agent.

Roger: Hence the reason why I say conspiracy theories are detrimental to one's spiritual health.

Fred,

I was disappointed that I wasn't listed. Maybe you can forward my name to Him [just joking]. There are some good men on the list [Sean Ransom, Alexi, etc] and it is a badge of honor to be included with such men.

One of our overseas GTY offices got an e-mail about this from a concerned friend of the ministry. Apparently folks outside the US are reading this guy's twaddle and getting alarmed.

I blame the Freemasons.

Fred,

I think I ran into this man after the last session at the Shepherd's Conference handing out his screed to the conferees walking into the parking lot. He was saying that GCC is influenced by the CGM. I said "nonsense" and kept walking on as did most people.

I read some of the stuff you posted that he recently wrote. The poor fellow is obviously obsessed and possibly delusional since he seems unable to separate fact from fantasy. I have to say that the reading was facinating, to put it mildly. After a good perusal, I just shook my head!

Why is he so obsessed with GCC and MacArthur? Has he ever regularly attended GCC? Perhaps it the need for some kind of notoriety that makes him focus on GCC and MacArthur. You know, the 15 minutes of fame syndrome.

I've often wondered how people like him will ignore mountains of evidence that contradict their theories only to find a few unrelated threads that they use to spin a conspiracy theory.

I would suspect that this man is not a member of any organized church or group that he does not lead himself. Even a pastor or teacher that initially agreed with him would eventually become his target.

Wow. He must be a lonely man.

Great to see you at the conference. Phil's message was very good and obviously provacative!

Blessings,
Steve Lamm

Proof that Al Mohler's Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC is an NGO of the UN is available at the UNESCO website (www.un.org/ecosoc/).Click on "NGO Participation" and type in ERLC.

Bob,
It is not an issue of whether or not there is proof that Al Mohler is on this committee. I certainly believe you that he is. The issue is whether or not it has any spiritual relevance and how his participation on such a committee is sinful or evil or whatever.

Where as you assign some satanic power to the UN, I see them as an impotent man-made organization, just like any other man-made organization, say for example, the United States, that really has no power to do anything of any significance with regards to ruling the world with the anti-Christ at the head.

I do trust you read my article about Tin-foil hat theologians? Yes?

I am not Bob. Having UN-NGO status requires conformity with UN principles and promotion of UN activities such as population control through abortion.

Please read the UN Principles to be applied to NGOs in consultative status. (www.un.org/esa/coordination/ngo/)

2.- The aims and purposes of the organization shall be in conformity with the spirit, purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations.

3.- The organization shall undertake to support the work of the United Nations and to promote knowledge of its principles and activities, in accordance with its own aims and purposes and the nature and scope of its competence and activities.

So Bob,
I have read the charter of the UN and I with the generic explanation as to its purposes, there is nothing unbiblical about it. Where exactly does the UN say that its supporters must be willing to engage in eugenic methods for population control? Web address please?

You need to read the other post I wrote answering your email: HERE

Okay?
But your not answering my question, Bob. You specifically stated, Having UN-NGO status requires conformity with UN principles and promotion of UN activities such as population control through abortion.

Nothing you have shown me so far says anything about the UN controlling populations through abortion. Where on the website does the UN state that one of its objectives is to control populations through the means of abortion, or any other eugenics measures?

Certainly I would agree the UN supports abortion, as does any secular organization in the world, like the United States, which by your logic, no Christian could say the pledge of allegiance or even shoot fire crakers off on the 4th.

What you have shown me so far does not in any way implicate Al Mohler in some wicked scheme. Again, you need to read the article I wrote and link to. Interact with my biblical arguments that your conspiracy driven mindset is harming your faith.

Under Pres. Bush, the US government refused to fund the United Nations Population Fund because UNPFA funded forced abortions in China:

“Regrettably, the PRC [People's Republic of China] has in place a regime of severe penalties on women who have unapproved births. This regime plainly operates to coerce pregnant women to have abortions in order to avoid the penalties and therefore amounts to a ‘program of coercive abortion.’ Regardless of the modest size of UNFPA’s budget in China or any benefits its programs provide, UNFPA's support of, and involvement in, China's population-planning activities allows the Chinese government to implement more effectively its program coercive abortion.” - Secretary of State Colin Powell’s letter to Congress, July 21, 2002 http://www.house.gov/burton/RSC/UNFPAletter.pdf

“Secretary of State Colin Powell has decided that the $34 million that we have for the UN Population Fund, with the approval of Congress, will be spent on population programs under USAID's Child Survival and Health Program Fund. While Americans have different views on the issues of abortion, I think all agree that no woman should be forced to have an abortion. After careful consideration of the law and all the information that’s available, including the report from the team that we sent to China in May, we came to the conclusion that the UN Population Fund monies go to Chinese agencies that carry out coercive programs.” - State Department Spokesman Richard Boucher, July 22, 2002, http://www.state.gov/

Under Bush, the US would not fund the UNPFA, but Al Mohler's organization is an NGO of the UN.

Bob,
First of all, this was in connection with a particular country with whom the US has an adversarial relationship.
But to show you the inconsistency of such a move, under Bush's presidency, Planned Parenthood continued to actually promote an eugenics philosophy of abortion. Additionally, the maintained their alliance with Saudi Arabia, which also has a rather dismal track record with human right violations against women.

You are a citizen of the United States. Using your same separation logic, you are supporting an organization that allows abortion to thrive in its borders and supports women hating countries. YOU are just as guilty as Al in supporting the US and its involvement with abortion.

NOTE: Charles, I will not allow you to slander by name any elder at my church and a fellow I happen to be friends with, so your comment was deleted. The same with your comment, Bob.

So Al Mohler, who is President of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and an annual keynote speaker at the GCC
Shepherd's Conference, founded the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the SBC [ERLC] which is an NGO of the UN, whose global agenda is community ransformation. Also, Dr. Frank S. Page, President emeritus of the Southern Baptist Convention
serves on the Advisory Council of Pres. Barack Obama's "White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships,"

whose stated purpose is to form an alliance of church, business and government for the purpose of community transformation.

Furthermore, Rob Iverson, the Chairman of the GCC elder board, is a director of the church growth org, Leadership Resources International, which trains pastors and other church leaders. Iverson is also President and Chairman of the Board of The Masters Academy International (TMAI), another church growth org which partners with foreign governments for the purpose of community transformation.

These facts along with many, many others are thoroughly documented in Bob Johnson's expose at watch-unto-prayer.org/macarthur.html. Anyone who reads this will see that Macarthur's Grace Community Church is stealthily being transformed into a church growth organization equipped and adapted for service in Barack Obama's faith-based community transformation program.
